Complete obstetric care from start to finish:

Complete Prenatal Care
All necessary prenatal visits scheduled according to the standard (ACOG) schedule.
Routine monitoring of standard lab work. Labs are drawn in office and sent to quest diagnostics, who bills your health insurance.
Referral to imaging centers for diagnostic ultrasounds as needed. The imagine center bills your health insurance.
Non diagnostic imaging in office as needed.

Birth Attendance and Immediate Postpartum Care for You and Baby
Attendance of a midwife and student midwife at your labor, delivery and postpartum.
Routine monitoring of vitals of mother and baby.
Intervention and transfer of care as necessary when complications arise
Baby’s first physical exam and routine newborn screening tests excluding the hearing screening (referral)

Postpartum Care
3 postpartum visits including a 2 day postpartum home visit.
Monitoring and necessary intervention provided for lactation issues and infant weight gain/normal newborn concerns within our scope of care, referral to IBCLC as needed, pediatric care still recommended
Birth certificate filed within 5 days of birth

Concierge Care
24/7 concierge service — availability by phone at all times.
One hour long visits scheduled every time.
Birth pool brought to your home, our team is prepared to do the set up and breakdown
We leave your home in a better state than we found it after your birth, making sure all birth related messes are cleaned progressively
How much does it cost?
Here at Moonrise, the cost of midwifery care is calculated on a case by case basis using a sliding scale to ensure that our care is accessible to the most amount of people.
